Ms. Mai MANAN

Mai graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology) and a Master of Psychological Medicine from The University of Hong Kong. As a psychology-trained teacher, Mai takes pride in teaching her students skills that will develop their critical thinking and guide them to think more outside of the box through interactive discussions. She deeply values the bond and relationships that she creates with her students as she believes it to be a strong motivating factor for students to work hard when they feel respected and appreciated. She also firmly believes positive reinforcement to be a crucial element of effective teaching since it builds confidence and self-esteem in students, especially for those that might be facing academic difficulties.
